“Ilhas” meaning islands in Portuguese is coloured with French green kaolin clay and Indigo herbal powder to showcase the tropical greens and blues of our skies, rivers, beaches, hillsides, forests and fields of our home state Goa. Growing up, Sundays were always beach days, spent in the sun with the taste of salt in your mouth which was washed out with a dip in the local freshwater spring near my grandmother's house in Saligao and followed by a traditional Goan lunch, the precursor to a long siesta that rounded out the perfect Sunday.
