Our Story
Hello! My name is Ayesha and I founded Kùva in 2018. I live in Goa, with my husband, daughter and 2 Indie dogs. My journey into natural skincare began in 2010 when my mother was diagnosed with cancer. Eating cleaner foods was a simple switch, but finding products that were clean for my mother to use, was much harder, so I started making my own. After years of making products at home, I finally took the step towards turning my hobby into a business and Kùva was born.
Kùva, was once an ancient name for Goa, and all the products I design are intricately linked with this beautiful state. I am Goan and have lived here my whole life. The products I have created are all based on happy memories of growing up in Goa. The colours, scents and ingredients are all handpicked to evoke the beautiful nostalgia of my childhood in Goa.
At Kùva, we design skin care products that are good for you! We are dedicated to crafting high quality, healthy and affordable skin care products that will nourish your skin and be kind to the environment.
We believe that a product is only as good as the ingredients used to make it. Every ingredient we add to a formulation serves a purpose and we will always use the best quality ingredients to make the best safe and effective skin care products available. Our ingredients are locally sourced wherever possible so that we know where our ingredients are coming from and we are aware of how they are produced.
All of our recipes are formulated, created, tested repeatedly on family and friends and manufactured at our unit in Goa.
